Francis V. Guinan, Jr. is an American television and stage actor who is perhaps best known for his role as Edgar Teller the patriarch in the short-lived NBC series Eerie, Indiana. He has been a member of the Steppenwolf Theatre Company ensemble since 1979. He has made guest appearances in many notable television series. In December 2007, Tracy Letts' August: Osage County opened on Broadway to great acclaim. Guinan's performance in this play has been cited as one of the many stellar turns in this highly praised production.
