Biography
ルイジアナ州にて、父ダレルと母スージーの間に生まれる。姉と妹がいる[1]。ウェールズ系の血を引く。

幼少時代にカリフォルニア州ベンチュラに移り、以降はそこで育つ。6歳の時から演じることに興味を抱き、劇団に入った。また、敬虔なクリスチャンである。

2010年公開のディズニー映画『塔の上のラプンツェル』の劇中歌で、主演のマンディ・ムーアとリーヴァイとのデュエット曲である「輝く未来（I See the Light）」が、第83回アカデミー賞歌曲部門にノミネート。
